Shakira King

Shakira King is an attorney at Manson Johnson Conner, PLLC, where she handles criminal and civil litigation. She brings more than two decades of real-world business experience to her practice. That background gives her a practical understanding of how organizations work and how legal problems affect the people involved.
Before practicing law, Shakira spent 20 years at Ingram Industries in Nashville, handling human resources matters and employee benefits. In that role she dealt with workplace disputes, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The work sharpened her judgment, her attention to detail, and her ability to guide people through difficult situations. Today, she brings those same skills to clients facing criminal charges or civil disputes, advocating for them in and out of the courtroom.
Shakira was born and raised in Alaska and is a proud graduate of Tennessee State University. She earned her law degree from the Nashville School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee.
Outside the office, Shakira is married and the mother of two children. She values family, community, and service, all of which shape the way she represents every client.
